Founded in 2010 our mission was to bring the lost art of sewing back to a new generation.  We started teaching summer workshops and expanded to year round in schools and organizations in the Cape Ann area.  The demand for our classes became so high, we had to hire some sewing helpers to assist with all our classes!  Through trial and error we have found our most popular sewing classes have been the creation of mini stuffed animals...or felties as we call them!

With years of experience as a corporate professional educator and artist,  starting such a business was a natural and passionate next step!  We love teaching children...they love creating with their hands... a forgotten skill in these cell phone days!  Sewing is a great way to foster creativity and develop fine motor skills.

We  also have our own business, Madam Posy Design, where we create kids sewing kits and upcycled fabric arts items.

By combining  teaching skills and artistic talent, we provide children the opportunity to explore their creativity and learn practical sewing skills. Sewing can be a rewarding and fulfilling hobby, and we are giving children the tools and guidance to express themselves through this medium.
